Six months or so ago I did a couple of videos around improving your knife skills. This week continues that theme with a video on knife skills for making a spindle for use in bow drilling. To make the spindle I firstI baton a piece of sycamore, I’ve done a video in the past on batoning with a knife, so take a look at that for a refresher.
A knife is likely to be your most important tool in a bushcraft setting and so any chance you get to practice using it is time well spent.
