We have had many, many people attend our courses, people from different backgrounds and from all walks of life. Many of them come back time and again; some even become good friends with us and with other course participants.
We are often asked what kind of people attend our courses; the answer is “all kinds”! There is no one type of person that comes to our courses. But undoubtedly, one of the best things about this job is the people we meet. We meet people with great life experiences, knowledge and skills, people with wonderful stories to tell around the camp fire, people with a brilliant sense of humour, with a zest for life and people with a desire to know more about the natural world; It’s hard to remember a course where we didn’t learn something from a student. One characteristic the people we meet share is, as trite as it sounds, “nice”!
The photos on this page will hopefully give you an idea of the kind of things you would do on one of our courses. This is just a small selection of the photos taken on our bushcraft and woodland skills courses. After every course we upload photos to our Facebook page, where people can tag themselves and add comments.
