What’s it about?
Located between Canterbury and Ashford, join us at our ancient woodland camp on the beautiful Kent Downs for this introductory 1 day trapping course.
Trapping played an important role in food acquisition for our hunter gatherer ancestors and represents an important aspect of bushcraft.
Whilst it is illegal in the UK to set and use the traps taught on this course, it’s a useful skill to have.

Well, wow, such an incredible and interesting topic, Steve's insight gets intimately taught with a clear great admiration for the subject matter, and with the participants being able to delve into the natural progression from rules, regulation, laws, land management; to the physical. There has been lots to learn. Yet the steep learning curve was easy to navigate with Steve's clear precise narrative, and I'm quite positive that within some reasonable assurances, anyone wishing or hoping to book this course, don't doubt that gut feeling. You'll definitely be thankful you go.
So quite humbly, it's been a sensation and inspirational undertaking having learnt some excellent new life skills. Thank you Jack Raven Bushcraft team!
