A couple of years ago I put together a video talking about the usefulness of bracken as a tinder in the winter and more recently another showing you how to light a fire with a bracken tinder bundle, with a little help from a King Alfred’s Cake.
One of the questions that I’ll often get asked is whether what we’re looking at is bracken or fern, so in this video I show you how to tell them apart.
