Pakoras are easy to make and absolutely delicious. Give this simple recipe a try.
Ingredients
- 250g of red dead nettles and hedge garlic
- 4 carrots, grated
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 250g chickpea flower
- 1 tsp of dried chillies
- 1 tsp of cumin
- 1 tsp of salt
- Vegetable oil
Method
- Mix the chickpea flour with water to make a paste
- Combine the remaining ingredients with the paste
- Take a spoonful of the mix and mould with hands into a ball
- Heat the oil in a large pan until very hot
- Add the mixture balls a few at a time
- Turn down the heat so they cook inside
- Cook until golden
