Foraging for ground elder

We regularly find ourselves foraging for ground elder (Aegopodium podagraria) as there’s a lovely patch near our ancient woodland camp.  It’s a member of the carrot family and typically grows in shady spots.

You might also want to take a look at this post which provides a few hints and tips for foraging.

Depending on the time of year that you attend, we’ll be foraging for ground elder on our 1 Day Foraging courses.

You can see loads of photos from these courses, as well as all of our other courses, on our Facebook page.
