They’re good articles and have a lot of useful information., not just on the component parts of a bow drill set but also how to make a bow drill set, posture and technique, including variations if you can’t adopt the usual posture, and also for bow drilling as a group rather than individually.
I’ve put this video together to compliment those articles, sometimes it’s easier to see something than to read about it. In the video I describe the different parts of a bow drill set, what materials you can use to make them and also about different approaches to bow drilling.
