Bushcraft uses for wood avens

I did a video a couple of weekes ago where I picked and ate some hogweed shoots.

In that video I pointed out some wood avens (Geum urbanum), also known as Herb Bennett, and said that I might well put together a video talking about the bushcraft uses of that wonderful plant.  So as I was in the woods yesterday afternoon with a little time to spare, I made one.  Here it is!

Looking at the bushcraft uses for wood avens is just one of the many wonderful things we get up to on our 1 day foraging courses.

You can see plenty of photos from these courses, as well as all of our others, on our Facebook page.
