Bushcraft uses for wood avens

As I was in the woods yesterday afternoon with a little time to spare, I made a video talking about some of the bushcraft uses for wood avens (Geum urbanum).

I did a video a couple of weeks ago where I picked and ate some hogweed shoots.  In that video I pointed out some wood avens , also known as Herb Bennett, and said that I might well put together a video talking about the bushcraft uses of that wonderful plant.  So here it is!

Wood avens are just one of the many wonderful plants that we look at on our 1 day foraging courses.

You can see plenty of photos from these courses, as well as all of our others, on our Facebook page.
