I thought I’d add a few photos from our first ever Nordic Crafts weekend. It really was a fantastic weekend and the participants made some lovely items (I even got the time to make a leather sheath for my carving knife). The weekend was focused around 2 traditional craft skills – blacksmithing and carving. The guys made some great Viking style neck knives, complete with leather sheathes, with Ross on the pit forge and carved some Swedish style spoons and spatulas with me. And Nicola completed the weekend with a Scandinavian themed menu. we’re running the course again in August, so get in touch if you’d like to join us.
