Open sided tarp configuration

I’m a big fan of sleeping under a tarp when I’m in the woods and my preferred way to set up my tarp is in an open sided tarp configuration.

I find that it gives me the connection with the natural world that I enjoy so much.  So here’s a video showing you how to go about setting up a tarp in that particular way.

An open sided tarp configuration is one of a few different configurations we look at on our  on our 2 Day Bushcraft Course and 5 Day Bushcraft Course as well as on the IOL Bushcraft Competency Award and Diploma.
