A wander in the woods in April

Nicola and I were at our ancient woodland camp a few days ago and decided to film a wander in the woods in April.  In the video I talk a little bit about ride management and the importance of the layering system, coppicing, ash dieback and a bunch of edible plants that we found on our way around.

Part of the route we took is likely to be familiar to some of you that have been on some of our courses as it’s along the normal route we take when looking at some basic tree identification.

At half an hour it’s a bit longer than our usual videos but hopefullyyou’ll enjoy joining us foa a wander in the woods in April!

If you’re particularly interested in foraging, then take a look at our 1 day foraging course.  There are plenty of photos of this, and all of our other courses on our Facebook page.
