Soap Making Workshop

What’s it about?

A half day soap making workshop where you will make your own 100% natural cold pressed soaps the old fashioned way.

As well as having some dates scheduled in, we’ll run a soap making workshop on demand for either 1 or 2 people in Westwell, Kent.

What will I do on a soap making workshop?

On the day you will:

  • Learn about different soap making techniques,
  • Understand the characteristics of various plant oils and their benefits to the skin,
  • Learn the basics of essential oils,
  • Make your own natural soap using the traditional ‘cold pressed’ method.

To see which soaps you can make, take a look at Nicola’s website made by hand herbals

All of the soaps are vegan friendly.

You’ll need to leave the soap to cure for 6 weeks, after which you can either collect it or we can post it to you.

As an added extra Nicola will prepare a selection of natural, locally sourced herbal infusions for you to try out.

Please note that the cost includes includes 10 bars of cold pressed soap and the postage to send them to you once they’ve cured.

If these dates don’t work for you, get in touch and we’ll try to find one that does.

A lovely, peaceful morning spent with Nicola on her soap making workshop. She is very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions, explaining each step. Small group experience, would absolutely recommend

Really relaxing and informative day

I came on this course with my Mum and we both had a fantastic time. Nicola is so knowledgeable and I learnt a lot about soap (and how much effort and planning goes into making it). It was a very relaxing day and the range of oils and scents to choose from was fantastic. I received our soaps today in the post and they all look so pretty, and smell even better! It’s lovely to have some gentle and ethical soap to use

Lovely way to spend mothers day

I treated my mum to this for mothers day. It was a really enjoyable and informative way to spend some time together. Both of us are excited to have a go at home.
